Here’s another pattern I’ve noticed:
There is a dangerously desperate need for play
in this world
right now.
Hear me out.
We desperately need to play - all age groups.
Why?
Because play encourages imagination
And imagination is vital for empathy.
In order to have empathy for another being
You need the ability to imagine what it would feel like in their situation
The strength of your imagination
Like any skill, you have to practice to improve.
So take five minutes
out of your day
And PLAY
