Open to all neurodiverse and/or disabled artists who identify with feminine energy.

Bringing light to the "Lost Girls/Lost Generation" of individuals who were late diagnosed from lack of relevant research, Through the Cracks will showcase artwork highlighting the often overlooked feminine perspective on neurodiversity and disability directly from the community.

Artists are not required to disclose details of their health information but may share relevant information to their comfort level related to each piece. Those who are self-diagnosed/identify as neurodiverse are welcome to submit artwork for this show. Due to the program's funding through a state grant, artists based in California are prioritized.

In light of the theme, work that discusses the artist's perspective of their symptoms, strengths, challenges, barriers to receiving a formal diagnosis, and movement in society will be prioritized.

Subject & Media

  • All 2D artwork including, but not limited to, acrylic, oil, watercolor, photography, ink, pencil, mixed media, etc. will be considered.

  • All pieces must be framed or canvas edges finished.

  • Digital artwork may be submitted, but if accepted, the piece must arrive ready to hang (printed and framed). Include the physical dimensions of the print (including the frame) in the submission form instead of the file's dimensions. This is a physical, in-person show without the ability to display digital files.

  • Sculptures and jewelry will be considered if framed or contained within a shadow box.

Use the button below to submit your work through the Google Form. Artists may edit their submissions until the deadline on November 4th. No incomplete submissions will be considered.
